Oct10 and we are at the shore.
Maine is a beautiful state that is full of red, orange, yellow and evergreens. It has a rough shore line with many inlets. The ocean moves deeply inland on a high tide. Because the shore is in and out the road is the same and travel time is slower, but we have passed through some wonderful old towns with very distinctive shops and homes. Century homes, ones that are 100 years old, can be so glorious with bric-a-brac finishes, widow’s walks around the roof and wonderfully restful porches. White is a very popular colour, but I am surprised at the colours of a few homes.
Congratulations Kelli on finding the cross. You have won many of the contests. Keep up the good work—stamped with a smiley face.
Bah ha ba is north of us now. We are just beyond Portland which we by-passed in favor of taking in Old Orchard Beach tomorrow morning. There are many sales on at this time as shops will close until next summer season. I am buying some things at flea market prices due to closing out sales!
So what kind of dog is the black dog we saw at a Nova Scotia winery where I bought a dessert wine—maple syrup wine—fermented maple syrup. There is a big ice cream party coming up.
Thanks for writing. Tim for the great beach pictures

I don't know what kind of dog the little guy is, some kind of terrier maybe, but I wanted to say the first house looks like it would be haunted!
