Oct13,and a Friday to boot!
Is there a secondary road in New England that is not like a corkscrew?
We got mooned! Someone had made some dummies, dressed them and put in two pumpkins for their arses. These rude dummies where attached to a fence with their drawers dropped just below the pumpkins. A great start to the day.
We wound our way up into the Berkshires in Massachusetts and stopped at the view point before the crest and the one after the crest. A hairpin turn was encountered on the way down, but the mh handled that with aplomb.
There are so many small towns with great adventures just waiting to be encountered. I stopped in a good ol’ general store in Charlemont near our campsite. Wow, what a treasure trove of hubris. I could have spent the whole day in the aisles and connected rooms. Sally got a new collar, the motor home got a drain cleaning stick, we got lunch and a steak for dinner. Not as a result of the drain cleaning stick!
Kittatinny canoes operates out of the campsite????; mist at river tomorrow morning was magical; hummer being towed by a 60 foot class A was in the campsite tomorrow morning.
