October11—pitter patter of little feet on the roof tonight.

The picture of the black car was to demonstrate the heavy frost we had at Norm and Judy’s.

I forgot to tell you about the car that was driving at his own speed and the parade of cars was growing longer. We came up side by each at a highway split. I knew it was a convertible and when I espied the driver I grabbed for my camera but the light changed. The man was about 80 years young in a black leather jacket and old leather aviator hat. There was a French cradle phone attached to the dash on the passenger side. He was nursing along a newish bmw sports car.

Today was heavy and gray. There was lots of moisture in the air but no rain until tonight.

We drove to view a lighthouse commissioned by George Washington in 1791. To see it we walked by a new golf course being created. Terry found a booee in the surf. That is buoy in Nova Scotia dialect. The booee marks the lobster trap which is now weighted by cement. My booee is red, white and electric orange. It is Styrofoam and the stem is now grey plastic electrical tubing. This was even more exciting than having her picture taken with a pair of lobsters in front of a restaurant.

Old Orchard Beach, a frenzy of activity in the summer was a ghost town. Stores simply close and re-open in the late spring.

We are going into Maine’s interior hoping to find a road to drive that one might find in Saskatchewan.

My blueberry soda is soooooo good!

The satellite radio is hooked up, but! The radio is hooked to the ignition along with a fan and a pair of daylight driving lights. The radio has to be taken off the ignition.

Time to add some pictures.

Cheers
